Sylvie’s Head was formed in the industrial city of Göteborg in January 2024. Since then, they have created their own place in the city's underground by blending hard breakbeats, chainsaw guitars, Balearic house euphoria, and unpredictable dubrock chaos. Their debut EP Sharp Shooter and the febrile interpretation of Godstar from 2025 showcased their party-friendly rock'n'roll dance music and earned them a nomination in the "Rock of the Year" category at the Manifestgalan 2026. With intense and immersive live performances on stages such as Pustervik, Oceanen, and Nefertiti, Sylvie’s Head has quickly become one of Göteborg's most talked-about bands. Influenced by post-punk, 90's club culture, and psychedelic rock, the band balances rhythmic precision with explosive energy and creates a sound that exists somewhere between the dance floor and the rehearsal room. Their debut album Everything Is Free, to be released in 2026, further deepens this hybrid of rock and club culture, while the band tours Sweden, the UK, and Europe, with stops at festivals like The Great Escape, Focus Wales, and Colours of Ostrava.
