Friday jazz at Källarbyn
Welcome to Friday jazz at Källarbyn, every Friday! A concert series with a focus on swinging, challenging jazz at a high level. The kitchen and bar offer a carefully selected range of local beer, good wines, organic food, and pastries for a complete evening.
The concert is given in two sets starting at 20.00. There is free admission, but a donation of at least 50 kr per set is recommended. The donations go directly to the musicians.
✨7/8-2026✨
The music of trumpeter and composer Fabian Eliasson is characterized by clarity and depth, where lyrical melodies meet in landscapes where both the beautiful and the ugly are given space. With his razor-sharp quartet consisting of David Weissglas on piano, Dario Fantuzzi on bass, and Sam Öhd on drums, the group creates music that breathes, where every moment carries both stillness and direction. The music's clear influences from musicians and composers such as John Coltrane, Ambrose Akinmusire, and Immanuel Wilkins underscore the relevance of tradition and the music's striving for development.
Källarbyn's concert activities are supported by Iceberg Sound Systems and Studieförbundet Bilda.
