Friday Jazz at Källarbyn
Warmly welcome to Friday Jazz at Källarbyn, every Friday! A concert series focusing on swinging, challenging jazz at a high level. The kitchen and bar offer a carefully selected range of local beers, good wines, organic food and pastries for a complete evening.
The concert is given in two sets starting at 20:00. Admission is free, but a donation of at least 70 kr per set is recommended. The donations go directly to the musicians.
Saxophonist Daniel Gahrton is an established freelance musician with several own projects on the rise. His own trio plays everything from smooth, gritty blues to cleverly intricate jazz compositions and fragile ballads. The baritone sax, Gahrton's most faithful companion in the instrument arsenal, is at the center of this raw, naked and jazzy energetic sound.
Daniel Gahrton - saxophone
Jakob Hällgren - bass
Amadeus Wedberg - drums
Källarbyn's concert activities are supported by Iceberg Sound Systems and Studieförbundet Bilda.
