Since their formation, Sunn O))) has redefined heavy music by uniting avant-garde, drone, and rock into a sound that is instantly recognizable and uncompromisingly their own. The concert follows the release of the band's tenth studio album SUNN O))) — their first new full-length since the acclaimed Pyroclasts (2019). Recorded at Bear Creek Studios in Washington, the album is marked by a strong sense of space, nature, and dynamics — where light and darkness, weight and stillness are woven together in expansive compositions. For the first time, O'Malley and Anderson handle all instrumentation themselves, opening up new creative possibilities and bringing their interplay to new levels of intensity.
Rooted in an artistic universe where music, image, and idea converge, SUNN O))) has over the years collaborated with a range of distinguished creators. On the new album, however, they return to the pure duo format — a concentrated expression further amplified through their recent live performances. The result is a sound that feels both ancient and perpetually shifting, where every concert becomes a physical and total experience.
Audiences can expect an evening where time and space dissolve into massive drones, textured walls of sound, and hypnotic presence — a rare opportunity to witness one of experimental music's most influential names up close.
